A regular cup of coffee can be brewed in a kettle or in a coffee machine. It all comes down to adding hot water to ground coffee. You can make it by boiling water then adding coffee and letting it boil for a short while, then removing the kettle from the fire and letting it rest as the coffee grounds settle. Or you can use a French press, where boiled water has been poured over ground coffee, then mixed in. The press then pushes the coffee grounds down to separate them from the liquid. The coffee filter way, which is the simplest, has the machine heat the water then pour it over ground coffee placed in a filter above the coffee pot.

Cappuccino is a type of coffee-based beverage that is easily recognizable due to the foamy layer on top. It is made using a double espresso, steamed milk, and froth. The name of the beverage was inspired from the hood Capuchin monks used to wear on their heads, as they both have the same color. The Kapuziner appears mentioned in the 1700s in Vienna, although the term we use today is the Italian one, dating back to 1930s. The Austrian heritage is not completely left aside as the full name is “Austrian cappuccino.”

In Europe, cappuccino is a breakfast beverage. Italians, for example, only serve it up to 11 AM, and they find it strange to drink it after that hour. In other countries, cappuccino is consumed until late in the afternoon.

A cappuccino is made using a special machine. Shortcuts like instant cappuccinos have been invented. These are beverages with a similar flavor that are inspired from the real thing, yet they remain far from the original.

Considering the different types of blends, even two regular coffees can taste quite different. A cappuccino, on the other hand, will have the intense flavor of espresso, toned down by the milk and with a delightfully foamy texture. It too can be as sweet as you like, yet it should have a slightly bitter taste on account of cinnamon being sprinkled on top of the foam to make it look better.
